ABU DHABI: The Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, ADIBF, is a bridge of cultural and intellectual communication among the peoples of the world thanks to the rich international participation in its activities and the ample literary and artistic movement that will contribute to enhancing cultural exchange and supporting the publishing industry worldwide, Navdeep Suri, Ambassador of India to the UAE has said.

The remarks were made came during a reception hosted by the Indian Ambassador at the InterContinental Hotel Abu Dhabi to celebrate his country's participation as a guest of honour at ADIBF 2019 in its 29th edition in the presence of Ahmed Al Hay Al Hamli, Director of the West-Asia Administration at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, along with a number of officials.

The Indian Ambassador, in a speech during the ceremony, expressed his happiness at his country's participation in ADIBF through a large number of Indian publishing houses, which offer rich cultural production to readers from all over the world. He pointed out that the Indian Pavilion offers a range of literary, cultural and artistic activities.

The reception included musical shows from various Indian regions.
