The National Investigation Agency (NIA ) court has acquitted all accused in the Mecca Masjid blast in Hyderabad, including Swami Aseemanand, who has been linked to three terror attacks. The court said that the NIA had failed to prove anyone's guilt.

Swami Aseemanand and five others faced trial for a blast that occured in 2007 at the Mecca Masjid , near Charminar in Hyderabad. 9 people were killed and 58 injured in the blast.

The initial inquiry was conducted by the police but many complained against the investigation and handed the case over to the CBI before the NIA had took over the case from the central  agency in 2011.
