Ultimate objective of Science & Technology is to advance and better the human life: Vice President
 

The Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu has said that scientific research is of no use if it does not improve the life of people. He was interacting with the Students of Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram who won Asian Regional Space Settlement Design Competition 2018 and are scheduled to participate in the world final to be held at NASA, USA.

The Vice President said that the ultimate objective of Science and Technology is to advance and better the human life. He complimented the Students for the unique opportunity they got and appreciated their hard work and dedication for designing of space settlement. It is a remarkable achievement, he added.

The Vice President advised the students to take advantage of the opportunity and told them to gain new experiences and put it for practical use in future.  This trip will provide you for further enhancement of knowledge on space technology, he added.

Describing the achievements of our country in fields of science and technology, the Vice President said that India is one of the leading space research nations and we are Proud of our Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), which is now preparing satellites for other nations including SAARC countries.

On this occasion, the Vice President talked about the history and great traditions of India and said that share and care are the core philosophy of India and said social discriminations and atrocities must be driven out of the society.
