The UN humanitarian aid chief expressed anguish over the continued strikes over Aleppo by Russian and Syrian government forces resulting in not just massive loss to life and property but also hitting any attempt in bringing forth humanitarian aid to the almost starving people of Aleppo. The United States is referring to the strikes as a gift to Daesh by the Russian forces.

Russian president Vladimir Putin,  in defense of his country’s military strikes in Aleppo has come on record to state that it is America which is a de facto supporter of terrorism in the country and that they will not stop till they achieve victory on behalf of Syrian President Bashar Al Assad.

America meanwhile is looking out to honing its offensive in the region by asking all agencies to put forward all options old, new, tested and tried and some totally new in principle to help turn around the situation in Syria. Speaking at the Senate Foreign relations Committee, deputy Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken said,” all outside patrons are going to thrown in more and more weapons against Russia and Russia will then prop up Assad in an ever smaller piece of Syria.”

The UN Chief of aid meanwhile stated that the Security Council needs to step in to stop the blatant disregard for the most basic provisions of international humanitarian law. He further lamented over the fall of the Syrian city into a abysmal state of affairs where people are living in hell and termed it as a humanitarian catastrophe unlike any other.

Exasperated by the constant strikes despite The UN calling for a ceasefire, O’ Brien remarked that where every thing else seems to have failed in convincing Russians to stop the strikes one could now only look at the world opinion and the global disgust at the happenings to draw out a better response from Assad supporters.
